Our Functions

Our primary functions are to provide parent support online and to run local conferences for global families and schools regarding:

• Educational testing and evaluation.
• Educational consultancy for parents with:
  • Educational planning
  • Special Educational Needs
  • Resources for home-based education.
• "Third culture" profile training for teachers and parents.

Our Audience

Our primary audience is:

• Global families educating their children at international schools in each region.
• Global families educating their children through other means such as home-based training and local schools.
• Teachers and school leaders, who are responsible for the education of global children.

Leadership

Heylane Vonk is focused on Africa and Janeen Gutierrez is focused on The Americas.

While 2025 was a year full of transition, both are excited to step fully into their roles with Anchor in 2026.

At the end of August 2024, Margaret Stockwell stepped down from leading Anchor Education, after 15 years of faithful service.
